WooHoo !! My Christmas present to myself came today ... yes I know a bit late .... but sooooo worth it!
The fender is made by Klock Werks (click for link) in South Dakota ... and it is the 'Henry' Style and it was painted by The Factory Match (also click for link) also in South Dakota.
It took a while to get it all done and down here to Oregon ... but it was so worth it !!!

Even the pup approves!
Of course I couldn't wait, even though it is freezing in the shop, but I just had to!

That is the fender BMW SHOULD have put on there originally ... it is made from a very heavy gage material and
just follows the tire perfectly ... and there is a little room left in case I want to go wider.
Big shout out to Milwaukee Dave ... he pointed me in that direction and thanks Ian from 'KlockWerks' and Josh from 'Factory Match'
for working with me on this one ... If you like ... give 'em a shout .. they have another style as well .. but this one is for me ;)

I like the looks of yours better than mine, and besides yours is metal.
Would not buy plastic from DK Custom for this reason next time.

That really looks great!. too bad i've got a red bike. on their website i only see black.

KlockWeks sells them only primed ... Factory Match painted them to my (BMW) specs ... you can have it in any color you like :) .. or buy the fender and have a local body shop paint it for you ....

I had an ABS one as well before ... it looked 'bulky', not bad but just a little too bulky for my taste and I really didn't like the ridge it had on top.

That looks great!
The 14 gauge steel they use matches up well with the tank-like build of the R18.
I’m curious, did you take any pictures of the adapters they provided?

Oops .. I sure didn't .. they were aluminum and nicely made ... but IMO about .100" too thick (each) ... I put them in anyway (Factory Match painted them as well) but if it causes the fork to bind (but I don't think so) I will pull them out and mill them down ... he is out of his shop at the moment ... But, I will let him know about the thickness when he comes back. I promise I will take pics if I decide to pull them and re-work them ;)

... and double thanks for pointing me that way!!

I was just curious because I used their fender listed as a fitment for the Indian Scout and it came without any adapters so it must be a direct fit on a Scout. I fabricated a set using .125” plate stock and they seemed to fit fine.
I just wanted to see what KW came up with.
It’s all good, my bike is all together and it worked out fine. But I only missed out on their R18 fitment by a few months.

Too bad ;) but you have posted your bike ... and you done veeeeery well ! ... I just like that idea that it is made by people that one can talk to not some nameless - faceless corporation and the paint job by FactoryMatch was flawless ... well worth the wait !
