R18 B w/ ROCTANE Hommage Seat

Has any ROCTANE forum owners installed the Hommage seat; or better yet, any R18 B owners explored this modification?

I find myself constantly looking at the ROCTANE accessories, in order to add a unique, yet tasteful look to my R18 B. I've been reading the R18 "Homage" threads, and like the overall look; my wife hardly ever rides with me...

I've been kicking around the idea of the ROCTANE Hommage seat on my R18 B; however, I have to consider the following:

1. Will I lose the heated seat option?
2..Can I hide or relocate the speaker & amplifier wiring?
3. Overall look & finish of Q.2 once completed

I mocked up the concept using the BMW site.

It would be a little easier to hide since you have the Roctane fender fillers, but will still be seen. Even more with that seat due to the 3 main harness under the seat that I am not sure how you could hide.

I love the look of the homage seat on a bagger... I'm sure I could come up with solution that can hide those cables...

I might spend some time reviewing the installation document for the ROCTANE and compare it to the Model B frame..

There should be an easy way to do it, since that is a B model they have it pictured on. Either they just stripped the wires and took the picture or tucked them between the 2 side panels. I did not spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to reroute them because I was not happy to loose my seat heating so I knew I would be going back to original once I got it upholstered.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the idea of losing the heated element within the seat..

Harden up princess; are you a motorcycle rider or not ? Heated seat - next you’ll want air conditioning ! Get the hommage seat or equivalent aftermarket tractor seat ( anything can be made to fit ). The aesthetics will improve when you go down this pathway. Drink that metaphorical concrete milkshake.

A/C?? Where do I sign up for that? Riding BMW bikes since 2016 so I have come accustomed to heated seats and grips. Once you give me cake you cant go taking it away and not expect complaints. But in all actuality when it does get those few cold days I just ride the K1600, more leg coverage.

If I go down the tractor seat path, I'll probably have a leather upholstery guy integrate the heating element into it... I was looking at different aftermarket kits "tractor seat" wise..
