Does anyone know which side is the lower exhaust servo motor located?
I want to install a Healtech switchable es eliminator and i was told to install the switchable one on the lower and the es eliminator on the other.🧐

Hahaha 😆 🤣😂 they just changed it because of me contacting them. Lol
When I bought them, it was written 1 sw plus one regular 😉

Does a single Healthtech module connect to both servo control cables (left & right exhaust)? Or, do you need to purchase two modules, similar to the Servo Buddy modules..?

The below picture looks like a single Healthtech module covers the whole job...

It takes 2 modules. Otherwise it does not make sense to delete one exhaust and have a switch to open and close the other one.😉

I’m literally doing the same thing now, following advice from forum members Ive ordered two of these Healtech ESE-BM1 modules. Pic below for you. About £45 each (from Motorworks, an established UK independent BMW parts supplier).

If you remove both servos and cables, that's the way to go. Personally I'll stick with 2 switchable ones, it'll be more like Dr Jekill and Mr. Hyde system.

I always set my Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde exhaust system in "Hyde" mode; I wish I could just lock it vs having to press the button right after start up..
You can do that with these new healtech boxes. In fact I will leave the switch off of the bars for this very reason.

So it says on their website you need additonal ES BM1 with the new ES SW BM1.

so does that mean there is one in the package and I need to order more I don't get it

There’s two options being discussed on the same thread.

You can remove the lower servo and replace it with two basic Healtech modules that just plug into the wiring harness and do nothing other than fool the bike everything is fine, the exhaust flappers are physically disconnected and just remain in the open position (because they are held open by strong springs), no error codes…..this is what I did.

Or you can purchase SWITCHABLE modules that plug into the wiring harness, they allow you to manually open & close the exhaust flappers yourself. Makes more sense if you buy a different and louder exhaust system (like the Jekyll & Hyde exhaust mentioned above). Open the flappers it’s loud, close the flappers it’s quieter. I don’t have this set up so can’t add any detail exactly how it works though.

D avance merci

I just bought a "kit" from averys motorcycles.com consisting of one switched ESE-SW-BM1 and one regular ESE-BM1. Now when I have them in hand, I can't see how the non-switched version could possibly work in tandem with the switched one?

Averys haven't responded to my last inquiry, so I suspect they won't be too helpful with this non-compatible kit either.

HealTech support was quick to respond, I'll give them that. They said:
Generally, the standard ESE-BM1 unit must be connected into the right Exhaust Servo, as its elimination doesn't affect on environmental protection standards.
The exhaust valve must be locked in the fully open position, or it must be removed in this case.
The ESE-SW-BM1 unit should be installed in line with the left Exhaust Servo. If you intend to control the other Exhaust Valve with a Switch too, we suggest installing an ESE-SW-BM1 unit there.

I guess one should keep away from the "kit" as it's just bullshit - they don't have a product suitable for the R18s double exhaust, and instead of making one or say they are incompatible, they bundle one switchable eliminator with a non-switchable and call it a day. I'm sure it's obvious that I'm disappointed.

Next step seems to be to get a refund for the non-switchable and buy a switchable one, and solder the cables or buy a button as the one Thomas linked above.
