Hello,
I've taken a pic from media part to circle something. Do you know what is it?
I've bagger first edition with plenty of options, but I’ve not this ’stuff’.

It is only found on the US models and I believe it is to do with the radio, a sort of antenna or something I believe . May be wrong but not too far off.

I believe it's the satellite antenna on US models, I tried Sirius satellite music for a few months, got a free sample... it was nice, but i ended up preferring my own mixes so didn't sign up for the subscription.

It's actually a piece of plastic; perhaps, it is RF transparent as not to attenuate the GPS signal to the GPS antenna that is mounted underneath the dash.

The GPS antenna probably supports the satellite radio and basic Lat./Lon. coordinates when not connected the the BMW Connect app.

I've posted a picture of this in a similar thread, if I can find it; I'll add for reference.

The YELLOW dot in the below image is a GPS antenna, and the green color dot is an AM/FM patch antenna.
