New guy from TX

Looking forward to the delivery of my 22 dealer demo R18TC from San Diego
Recovering from a recent shoulder surgery otherwise I would have got on a plane to CA and riden it home
I have been riding for 50 years. This will be my 6th BMW. Had lots of other bikes too over the years.
Grew up in the UK. Lived here in the USA for 30 years.
I have already enjoyed reading all the info and opinions on this site

Congratulations on the TC and wishing you the best recovery on your surgery (do your PT!). Just finished a 4,000 road trip over 2 weeks and am very pleased with the bike. There are a few changes I will make but nothing unusual.

PT I am working on. The physical therapist said I should be able to ride again 6 months after surgery which puts me at the end of January 24 so I will have lots of time to play in the garage.
