It’s a work in progress. I have a new LMC seat, front light drop kit and new turn signals on order. Bar end mirrors next!

Yes, it’s the BMW seat from the bobber kit. I’m not crazy about the seat. I ordered a LMC leather bobber seat to replace it. I plan to sell the seat after I install the LMC seat. I attached a picture of the seat I ordered.

I have been told that the set with the bobber kit is different from the BMW homage seat. I think the one with the bobber kit has springs under it and the homage does not. I haven’t seen either personally so I don’t know for sure.

I’m not sure if there is a difference. My seat doesn’t have springs. I took a few pictures so you can see how it mounts. The seat mounts on the plate as you can see in the picture.

Hi gents. I'm Charles County, MD. I have a 2021 FE and just replaced the seat with the homage seat. Debating on changing the rear fender. Then I have to deal with getting a side mount for the license plate and wiring along with hooking up the brake lights/turn signals.

Welcome, some pictures would be nice. I am particularly interested becasue I have a Homage seat I have not installed yet. I am going to replace the shock so I was waiting for it to be delivered before attempting the install of the seat. I am uncertain if I install the seat if I would have to remove it all again to replace the shock. Have you rode the bike with the seat and what is your height? Is it comfortable? Does the rear stock fender look good with it? What did you or what do you plan to do with the screw for the rear seat on the stock rear fender?

Clear Spring. Not far from Fredrick (West of Hagerstown), in fact I go to Ft. Detrick every month to pick up medication, and the occasional Costco run .

Thanks! The last 2 screws were a little difficult do to the limited clearance. You can't move the allen key that far. Make sure you have the homage seat adapter as well.

When you refer to Homage seat adaptor do you mean the black plate that Bolts

Hi JayB, The heritage seat actually looks pretty good with the stock rear fender. Still and all, e66's with the bobber kit looks fantastic, but I'm surprised at how nice the seat looks with the stock configuration.

Correct. I have the installation instructions that came with bracket and seat. Let me know if you want me to post it.
