BMW seems to like large side stand lean angles. This was not a problem on the R1200C as it weighed only 650 Lbs.
But when the bike weighs 850, it takes more hip to right the bike.
Last night I parked my topless R18TC on a 4” by 4” cedar post. It was nearly vertical but still leaning left about 5 degrees.
It’s not possible to change the side stand hinge location and angle, but I’m thinking a foot could be bolted to the bottom of the side stand. Probably no thicker than 1.5”. First I need to get a lift.
