These are lumens PER light:
I have two Squadron Pros on my Husky 701 and they throw a lot of light but they throw it everywhere. I keep one off and the other dimmed unless I'm off-road at night then I put both on. I'd blind people if I ran my 2 Squadrons at 100% full time.
We've gotten pretty comfortable with various lights and the differences.
- F750GS = two Denali D7s + two Denali D2s
- R1200GS = two Darla + one Erica + one Sevina
- 701 = two Squadron Pros
- R18 = two Dixi lights with Darla at 25% (middle lights) full time then the whole array will go 100% when I pull the high beam button.
Shout out to Ruby Moto though -
https://www.rubymoto.com I was talking to them as I wanted to try them out on the R18 but HexCode's EZCan (which is who Ruby uses for BMW integration) doesn't support the R18 yet and they couldn't give me an ETA so Ruby was just going to send me a traditional on-off switch so I waited for a couple of months and then decided to go Clearwater.
I don't have buyer's remorse but I do think the Super Sevina would have been the better buy. Clearwater has this handy page that shows you how the lights look. Dixi is a super long throw but not a wide one. Hoping I don't miss a deer standing right on the side of the road with these.
Here's the try-out page (probably requires being on a computer, not a phone) -

FYI to others on alternator output:
R18 Pure/Classic Output: 600 watts
R18 Bagger/TC: 660 watts
Your'e using 350 of that minimal for all of the vehicle's doo-dads so while I think pulling 200 watts for the Dixi along with running heated grips, seat and charging two USB Power Packs in the trunk's powerlet plug will work, I honestly don't know. I'll keep a look at the volts on the R18's dash to make sure I don't get down below 13. 200 watts just in lights is probably the limit of accessories. Canbus will shut the show down and reset if it is though.
