BMW R18
Just thought I'd join the forum as it would be nice to see how other people are getting on ! I live in Sussex, England and use my R18 as my daily ride but these days also enjoy not having to ride in the rain unless it happens en route!
My first dealer service at just over 600 miles was about £200!
I know Arden BMW in Tunbridge Wells have sold a few locally so if anyone wants a ride out/meet up that could be fun!
Does anyone know about the Jeckyl & Hyde exhausts in the UK? I like the idea but not the £2.5k I was quoted online!

Welcome from the U.S. Can't help with the exhaust, but I can tell you the OEM mufflers do offer more enjoyable sound after a few Ks.

This coming Sunday, BMW are holding a promo day at the 1066 Cafe - A21 Robertsbridge near Battle. Anyone in the SE of England thinking about dropping in?

Welcome, I live in Kent and Arden are my local dealer but purchased the bike from and had the first service performed at Vines in Guildford.

I have experience of J&H on Harley’s. They are made extremely well and now come with a 4 year warranty I believe? A set of remus slip ons with the fancier tips are 2.5k without the benefit of on the button adjustable sound which almost makes them look a bargain in comparison. The thing I don’t like about them is that the heat shield doesn’t seem to cover the pipe routing which looks odd to me when you see it from the side.

Cheers for responding. You busy next Sunday - fancy a cuppa at 1066?
I am possibly busy, but I think I’ll be seeing how the temperature pans out before deciding for sure as I am not built for heat, especially if it’s going to be as hot as they think. I am surprised they’re holding it there and not at a dealer. I would like to try the bagger at some point though.
I do most of my riding around Sussex/ Surrey though so will sort something out even if it isn’t on Sunday 👍🏻
