R18 Roctane
My search for a good-looking (to me) fairing for my Roctane has been more difficult than anticipated. Mainly due to the headlight being a different shape than the rest of the R18s. Has anyone installed the Wunderlich Highway Fairing on their R18? Does it do anything in regards to protect from wind or is it purely aesthetic? I know the Classic windshield offers more options and better protection, but to me at least takes away from the look of the Roctane. Just by looking at it I know the Wunderlich won't be revolutionary at wind protection, but does it help any. Thanks for any feedback. Classic windshield is my last resort.

Hello Joflo, I don't know about the Wunderlich Highway Fairing or what kind of wind protection it offers. But, I've been a fan of Wunderlich products and have a Wunderlich Cockpit Fairing on my 2023 Pure. It looks good to me and fits the minimal style of the bike, but it's not really an adequate windscreen for longer rides. Much better than nothing, I suppose. Have you checked out the Corbin Touring Fairing? I would question whether or not if either the Wunderlich or the Corbin would fit a Roctane because of its larger headlight. If I was to do another long trip on my R18, I would install a Classic-type windshield.

I considered the cockpit fairing but they don't make one for the Roctane due to headlight, corbin is too big for my taste, i believe there are two wunderlich highway fairings one for regular r18 models and one for the Roctane. Iv seen a few r18s including Roctanes on fb with the highway fairing, asked and waiting on response from them on how good/bad the wind protection is. Beautiful bike by the way.

would you buy it again? looks good! do they give you the hardware to relocate the turn signals?
If what you want is ultimate wind protection and like the look of the windshield or some other larger fairing get that, i wanted something that complimented the Roctane styling and this looks right to me. Wind protection was important to me but not at the expense of looks, with the short windshield i think its the perfect balance of functionality and looks, for me.
