I posted in another part of the site here, but thought I’d ask in here.
On Sunday I parked up and there was a wet patch up the middle of the bike. Took a look and it’s transmission oil for sure. Rode it home and there was still some, but with oil it’s hard to tell how much it was, as a little can look like a lot.
Been back and forth with the dealer (I only have the bike 2 weeks, secondhand with 750kms on it and first service fully done), they can only get me in on July 1st. A few emails back and forth later, they said it might have been overfilled at the service and the excess would be coming out of the breather valve, that’s where I identified the location of the leak.
I’ve attached photos for all to see.
I think I’m just in a semi state of grieving here, panicked that my new bike is broken already, and frustrated I can’t ride it for 2 weeks really.
Does any of the above sound plausible? Or had it happened to anyone else? Is the bike game over already?
