I like that very much. It is the same display that the K1600 has. Did you achieve that by connecting some sort of tuner or gadget that enables the display change?
Also, can you keep that display whilst splitting the screen?
Cheers

This is a beta function on the GS911. They enabled other features as well like changing the start-up animation.

I've been thinking of getting an OBD-II tool for my bike, in order to reset the service reminder; I was leaning more towards the LX or MX platform, but now thinking GS911...

I know there's a bunch of info scattered across the forum on this topic; has anyone put together a good comparison of the different tools which folks are using on the R18 platform?

Ha! Well considering the peak torque happens near 3k I don’t expect you will see much ‘action’. The 5-10 bit made me laugh out loud. Looks fun tho.

Did you see where I posted that the also enabled the aux light icon on the TFT?

I've just purchased a GS911, I'm not entirely sure why! I should have got it years ago when I first had my RT. I have Motoscan Ultimate, but they confirmed to me today that they have no planned updates for the R18 beyond the existing basic functionality that exists right now.

At least GS911 will let me delete the top case brake light fault.

Motorscan confirmed that there isn't any planned updates for the R18?

What did you pay for the GS911, I've been considering an OBD tool for the last year or so?

No*planned* development your Galactic Highness, not that they wouldn't be developing the R18 interface, but did say there was no timetable set for it.

I paid £325... about $400.

The GS911USB is $100 less than the wifi model, has the same capabilities other than having to use a laptop instead of tablet or phone

I see they are priced between $299 and $399, I think the more expensive model has a Wi-Fi interface? Do I need to purchase an interface cable for the R18 as well?

Are there any GS-912 discount codes and such out there..?

The wifi one comes with a cable, my guess is that the USB one will. My wifi one was the discounted price, you should be able to find a discount code somewhere for you Stateside.

Discount available here: https://shorturl.at/eqyDW Use Coupon Code 2ridetheworld for 10% off.

Note that if you contact them, they might be willing to supply tax free to the USA. That's 20% off. My workplace sells to countries outside of the UK tax free, so I don't see why these wouldn't.

What about the Enthusiast model with the 10 pin round interface connector; is this compatible with the R18?

I found a used one locally for $275

You need the adaptor cable. I have the enthusiast model which has a 10 vin limit. I’m not sure how they go about transfering ownership. There is a gS911 forum that may answer that question https://forum.hexcode.co.za/forum/index.php
