Hi gang.
I am not sure if my bike display is ok but I thought that after the break in service, the 6000 mls was the one to follow. I have done the break in service last year and on spring this year the bike was asking for a service. If I recall correctly, it was around 3000mls at the time. I thought the computer would have requested a service at mls intervals or length of time, i.e, whichever came first. Looking at the TFT and also the app, it tells me that I still have another 4.7K mls to go but I am at 4.8mls on the clock. Am I missing something or is this a dumb question? Apologies if it is the latter. Cheers

when i have my TC serviced they advance the next notification by 6000 miles / 1 year, then it alerts on the first one hit.

i had my last service done at about 16705m, the current mileage is 18474m, my service info says 4440m left, diff is about 6209m.. within range of what i'd expect...

i don't use the app anymore so not sure what that is reporting

hope this is helpful

Thank you Dave.
Both, the app and the TFT are displaying the same readings and intervals but this does not coincide with the service schedule on the manual. On the paperwork they gave me last time they even quoted they did the service (late) which is not accurate as it was 3K mls and a month before schedule. I am not sure if the mechanics inputted wrong values on the computer. I am mainly concerned about my warranty as it has well over a year left and I don’t want anything to affect that. Will give the shop a call tomorrow.

The service reminder on your TFT is set by the ECU ... if you have a GS911 you can set them to whatever you want them to be ... and/or reset ... just my 2¢ ;)

Thank you Ulrich.
I don’t have one of those as I purchased a 5 years service plan when I bought the bike so all the maintenance will be done by the dealership for the next 3 years or so.
I trust what the ECU has to say but my worry is that it is not in line to what the manual says, that was all.👍

In that case the dealer can set the date/mileage to match the service plan on paper .. it should be a 1 minute deal for them :)
