I wanted a set of the Rizoma signals up front to match the rear, so I decided to make my own mounting / wiring setup.

The factory front signals mount to a plate, that then mounts to the bike.

There’s enough room above where the turn signal mounts to the plate for the long Rizoma threads to stick up in to, and then route the wires back down.

I printed a new bracket out of some carbon fiber abs, but with an 8mm hole where the turn signal mounts.

The test fit was a success. Now to figure out the wiring.

BMW was pretty clever in how they put the connector inside the stock turn signal. I salvaged some connectors off of a bad wiring harness and wired the signal to that, so that it could be connected to the factory wiring harness.

Everything mounted up and worked on the first try. Now to CNC this bracket out of aluminum and it should be good to go.

Looking clean. Never was a fan of the oem front signals. They're better on that fork mount on the Classic

Do you mind sharing the file for the 3d print. I have the exact turn signal for the tail now I want it for the front. :)

I've been looking at that same set of RIZOMA directional lights for my FE project bike; ideally though, I want to try and purchase the BMW Mini-directionals which aren't offed within the USA.

Maybe duplicate the OEM bracket as depicted?

Solid work, looks good..

Would you consider manufacturing to sell? 🤓

I have been looking at these beautiful lights. Just want a plug and play setup which i don't think these are. Something that just clicks in to the connector

Well turn of events, I just bought this bike and as it sits its at 61 miles on it so I didn't want to cut into the OEM connectors. Something about it being a cleaner install got me. I did find those BMW Light man they are small, but well built. I have not installed them yet, but will be soon. Waiting for a warmer day. These have the connector attached so should be a straight forward install and each connection.

It will take you less than 30 min....small lights; however, extremely bright...

I love the look of these things...

I’ve used these; have to cut original wires and use heat shrink connectors. No issues with function.

I was able to keep the original OEM connectors, and tuck them up and out-of-sight.. maybe try that before cutting the connectors off and splicing the electrical connections...
