2021 R18 Classic. I had to replace the plastic cruise control on/ff and the set/resume pieces. I found the two pieces on AliExpress for $35. Expensive pieces of plastic but better than replacing the complete part ($700).

Here are some helpful thoughts for others doing the same.

This video is helpful for removing the left switchgear.

Remove the set screw (T15) under the left grip first. This will allow you to rotate the switchgear to make it easier to remove the two bottom screws. The two bottom screws and internal housing screw are T9, not T8.

Use a very small screwdriver to unsnap and remove two bottom housing components.

As the video mentions - One wire will detach while the other remains connected.

The cable loosening method in the video does not work for the R18. I removed the handlebars off the risers to pull enough slack through the bars to back the grip and switchgear off the bar.
