R18 FE Electronic box for reverse gear dead after reverse gear recall. BMW take only 50% of the box cost !!!

It s in the title . SHAME on BMW who wants to make me pay for an obvious default of reverse gear system . And this 500km after the recall done at their dealer shop. Bought the bike new in 2021 !
Has anyone experienced the same issue with the reverse gear electronic box ?

when I purchased I thought it was done as thats what they said.when I got home there was a plain paper stating it was good for a reverse replacement.my buddy said you better laminate that.

The Reverse module is a pretty basic module; are you sure you have a bad Reverse module and not a loose connection?

What exactly is your bike doing, or not doing; can you provide additional information?

Hello.

They finally accepted to change the electronic module at their cost . it was diagnosted faulty by the bBMW dealer . Cost of the module 500euros plus work hours.
They had numerous cases of faulty electronic module for reverse gear , this , confirmed by two different BMW dealers here in France. they experience the same with the K1600 as well .

in fact, the reverse module is the same of the k1600
