Hi all
Before buying the product I
would like to see side pics of r 18 with the wilbers +20 mm rear shock
If anyone has done this mod to their r 18 and is willing to post it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Lazos!
Looks definitely a bit higher
My question is how do they achieve the + 20 mm lift?
Since my silencers are just below the swingarm with a @ 10 mm gap which has never made contact....I wonder if the lift is achieved by the longer shock pushing down on the swingarm ...then it would be a problem with my exhaust tip
...any idea?
Thanks

Honestly a don't know i think most of the lift is on the top part. My dealer install the Wilbers. You should email Wilbers and ask them. Good luck. 20240428_160422.jpg

Thanks again Lazos for a different perspective picture....the swing arm seems straight with the frame lines just like my stock height r18 ...so I will definitely write to wilbers to ask where the magic happens

Longer spring is what they told me... 115mm of travel... shaft would have to be a bit longer as well I guess....

Longer spring ok ..but then seat height is the same ?...just more travel suspension ...I thought it was also raising the bike ..!?
Yes it raises the bike.... ie a bit under 20mm I guess. You situation is somewhat unique..... I'd jack up the rear and see if you have 20mm of additional rear wheel droop available.... pull out the shock/swingarm bolt to see how much additional droop is available before the exhaust hits.... just like wheel droping into a pothole when riding..... on my bike I do notice some additional swing arm down angle... but... bike to bike comparison won't mean much as static sag will not be the same possibly.... I run about 10mm static and 30mm rider sag.

Thanks Noelpolar.!..seems legit checking the swingarm drop without the lower shock bolt ....I guess that will give me a pretty accurate answer about my problem
