Optimate 6

Bonjour à tous,

Je souhaite brancher un boîtier de maintien de charge batterie optimate 6 comme je le faisais avant sur une Harley Davidson...
Je l'ai connecté via le port à côté de la marche arrière Et j'ai mais le contact pour que la moto reconnaisse qu'un boîtier est branché. Et puis j'éteins la moto bien-sûr.
Ça reste en charge, mais au bout d'un certain temps, ça coupe alors que je ne suis pas certain que le cycle de charge soit complet et qu'il ait eu le temps de faire des vérifications etc... Je ne suis pas certain également que la moto réouvre le port pour relancer la charge en cas de besoin ..

C'est Normal ou pas svp ?

My understanding is that the Optimate 6 is not a can-bus charger, so it will not work by connecting it to the port next to the reverse gear. The Optimate 4 is the correct charger to use on the BMW port.

Effectivement, optimate 6 is not compatible with can-bus. I'll take optimate 4 quad
