Noise from front wheel

Hi everyone, I’m Ashton from California. I just purchased an R18 and noticed when I’m moving my bike while the engine is off, it makes a sound like the brake pad is touching the disk. Has anyone else experienced this sound with their bike? Is this normal?

Can be perfectly normal especially if the bikes been standing for a while or there is slight surface rust on the rotors. I bet if you take it for a short ride and try it again it will have gone So long as there is no obvious resistance it’s nothing to worry about.

+1 that. If it’s brand new the pads & discs will need to bed themselves in anyway which is all perfectly normal. Just go steady for the first few hundred miles. Oh and BTW set your rear preload up for your weight, 5 min job but well worth it. Lots of detail on the forum just search away…..

Is it a grinding? or clunking? ITs got a floating caliper setup, which occasionally will cause a clunk when moving back and forth...
