2022 R18B
Good afternoon. I’m new to this forum. I sold my Harley and got a 2022 R18B a few weeks ago. I’ve always had 12-14 inch ape hangers on my HD for comfort. My R18 handlebars are standard and remind me of the original HD handlebars. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket pair that would resemble the style or comfort of my HD handlebars? I’m taking it in for service in a few day and I was gonna start with asking the technician to raise the bars up forward a bit to see how it would feel.

I have nudged my Model B handlebars up a bit, which I like at this point; however, I've seen (read) a bunch of positive reviews concerning the Heli-Bars on the forum.

Maybe try searching "Heli" and see what pops up..

Norfsyder73,
In your case, I think the Heli bars would be your best bet.
I ride an R18 base and have tried several different handlebars. I started with the BMW mini-apes, but took those off in favor of the BMW king Apes. The king apes were too large so now I am riding with handlebars off an old R1200C. Finally, I got a two inch riser extension that will bring the mini apes back to me. Sometimes the seat you are using affects the ergonomic reach, and in my case the Weekender seats puts me 2 inches closer to the bars. In the next week I am going back to the mini-apes with extension.

The install requires maximum patience because the list of fasteners you need to take off is long.
If you live in a large metro area, find a motorcycle mechanic and pay him to do it.
