Still waiting on my new (2023) Transcontinental to be delivered, so I download the manual for a little light reading. I found the following two things that I did not know about:
1. If you turn off the bike (power button, NOT kill switch) and hold the turn signal switch to the left, it will keep the tail light and daytime running light on. Used for parking along side of the road at night, I guess. Why not use hazard lights?
2. More useful. If you turn off the bike and hold the flash to pass button, it will illuminate the lights for 1 minute then shut off. Useful when you need light to get to your door.
Immediately went to the garage and tried it on the Classic, which worked. Must be good for all R18s.
