Hi! I'm picking up my new to me R18 TC on the 25th, the dealership is doing warranty recall work on the reverse issue and the headlight issue. Can't wait to be in the saddle and I'm looking forward to learning from you all about this amazing machine.

Living in Idaho near Spokane, Washington currently and am hoping for some great trips on the TC.

Welcome! Great color choice. You have a lot of great riding in your neck of the woods, enjoy! We moved from an 1150GS to the TC and it took some learning and some minor tweaking to get her where I like. The TC is a great scooter.

I just got back from a 2600 mile ride not far from you. My sister lives in Colbert, Wa. I rode from my home in Monterey, CA to Colbert and then on up to Northport and on to Trail BC to visit relatives. I came back through Cour d Alene and on down through Idaho, Montana and back through Nevada and down to Carson Pass and back home. I love the country up there. I spent every summer as a child near Northport, WA. I still own my grandparents home and property on the Columbia River there.

As Rufus said “Lovely colour”.
What accessories have added (I can see 2)?
Welcome to the Clan 🇩🇪
It has aftermarket foot rests on the jugs, I'm not sure what else isn't factory. This one has the Option 719 and I'm still new enough to the bike that I don't know what's offered by BMW vs aftermarket. What caught your eye?

That sounds like a great trip! We live in Coeur d'Alene, it's definitely beautiful country.

I live in Coeur d'Alene and work in Sandpoint, if you need info let me know!
That was another option my fiance and I were thinking. Where do you work if you don’t mind me asking? In the possibility we move there I would be trying to work at Daher. I’ve been an aviation mechanic for 18 years, fixed wing an helicopters (currently) and I have always loved all Daher aircraft, especially the Kodiaks

I work for the Sheriff's Office. Daher would be a good spot, they seem to be a well liked and respected company and employer.

Back when we bought our home prices were a bit less in Coeur d'Alene than in Sandpoint. I'm not sure if that's still the case, prices in this area have skyrocketed in the past few years.

The rims. I didn’t know if they are standard or because it’s a 719?

So what you are saying is that you can’t recall because of the recall!? 🤔
Hahaha. What I'm saying is I just bought her, but the dealer at the last minute said it had two recalls that had to be done before he could sell it. So we bought it with the agreement it would stay at the dealership for work before we could drive it away.

They ordered the parts, which naturally are coming from Germany, and we're scheduled to go get her the end of July. I'm hoping the tarrifs and crap happening around the world won't delay parts more and keep me waiting longer. Haha. I'm jonesin to ride.

Well, I’m sure that you are looking for a nice late August first ride if the parts are coming from Germany… Even though stuff can be shipped overnight 😳🤔😏😉
