How To Has Anyone Installed A Tachometer On R18 Classic?

2021 BMW R18 CLASSIC, DARK NOMAD, FE, 2019 HONDA CRF450L
I found this on Wunderlich. Has anyone used it? Is it accurate and fast or does it lag? Any other brands? I prefer the sweep analog style tachometer.tachometer.jpg
 
I also have one installed on my R18FE and it works well and looks great
 
Hello everyone, I've installed the tachometer. It's a wonderful thing – the installation was very simple and well described. However, you should install a switch to disconnect the circuit so that the battery charger works properly. Have a safe trip, greetings from Germany.

Hi all, first post, Yes I have one on my new 2023 R18 Pure, Manhattan matt, It is slightly slower than the digital display, but looks good, and adds character to the dash Imo, maybe worth knowing, the company in Germany that made these has closed down, they still have a home page at there web address, but it tells you they shut the company down, so unless Wunderlich has stock, it maybe no more... 327D142B-6873-4795-9135-70D5E771266C.jpeg
 
Petrus, you confirmed my suspicions, I went looking for a matching clock to put on the rhs of the speedo, thinking of a matched set, but found the company MMB Closed down...
 
I don't think it is actually Wunderlich that is the issue .. I had a friend buy mine for me and then ship it to the states and he mentioned something that they told him the actual gauge manufacturer won't make them anymore ... I am glad I got mine when I did ;)
