Thinking it would be an easy pop-off/pop-on replacement I bought 2 extra bronze logo medallions from DK Designs for the gas tank sides (that match their engine covers). However after removing the screws from the orig BMW logo medallions, they were still quite secured to the tank. Gently pulling outward on them using a metal rod with slight curved tip hooked on the screw hole edge --still does not pop them off. Almost like they're epoxied in place.

Any one have experience getting those off?

This is the medallion I want to replace the blue/white with.

I mounted the medallions that were included within the First Edition box on top of the existing medallions...

If I were to try and remove the existing medallions, I would probably try getting some fishing line behind the edge of the medallion and work the line back and forth through the adhesive backing... I used this method to remove the reflectors off of my side cases and the front forks.

Fish line, dental floss or anything similar. Quite simple.

Actually, I took the easier way out. As it turns out the black M4X12 screws I bought were perfect amount of extra length, beyond the original tank silver screw's length, to accommodate for the extra width of the bronze medallion when placed right over top the original logo medallion. Can't tell the orig's are under the bronze. Works for me bc this way I don't lose the original medallions. :)

I used a guitar pick and ran it a bit around the edge until the medallion popped. There's a little bit of foam behind the OE badges that you need to break loose. Though if you found a solution with the double badge, you're all set.
