Just has a quote here in UK
12 months from £357.00 (without recovery) and £100.00 excess to £450.00 ish with recovery and no excess.
Will probably purchase as concerned about a few things that have happened to other forum members ie. Reverse gear failing, oil seals, etc, all of which would make the warranty look cheap.

60 months is gonna set you back $1,999.99
I'm sure you don't have to get it same day you purchase the bike, but you have to be under the umbrella of the factory warranty.
Check with your dealership.
