Hi i read about the guy on this thread who makes engraved engine plates tried to contact him on his facebook page but he did not reply anyone know of any other guys who will oblige ?.

Buy blanks on ALiExpress and take them to your local trophy shop for engraving.

They need to be laser engraved, needle engraving won't work. If it was Jürgen Hieronymus it takes a good while to respond as it isn't his sole business. These are the proofs he did for me. I didn't go with him as he didn't reply in over a week, but if his work is as good as the mock ups then it may be worth it. There are other sellers doing similar plates made in the same way as the 1800 badge, they are normally about €220.

As an alternative, I purchased a plate on EBay that fits around the badge and had it engaged.
I used a gentleman named Klaus who is also on Facebook. I am very happy with his work.

Have the letters been raised and then flattened, so they stay proud of the background? It looks very good.

Got the plates today...3 days from posting. They aren't as good as the built up plates and of course they aren't coloured simply engraved silver. They look okay, I guess I was hoping for "more" but you don't get more on the cheap! I say cheap these were €150 shipped.
They are CNC machined from billet aluminum and then the background is powder coated.
Mate, from the pictures they look alright to me.
