I have installed the Vance and Hines straight pipes on my FE but still not satisfied with the sound. How do I most easily access and remove the cats? I have done this on most of my bikes by just buying new headers but this does not look like an option with the R18.

On my previous R1200c, I bought exhaust pipes from Poland that had no cat. I'm at a loss as to what to do with my R18 since the cat is in the header pipe. That long drill is not something I would be comfortable using.
