Love the new black chrome pipes.. Beautiful color scheme. Won’t be long before people are looking for those pipes and the seat for older models. Seat looks like an improvement certainly.

Seat maybe. Exhaust nâh. Matter of taste of course and I recognise being biassed (see my old Norton Domi)




but the fish tail peardrop is both emblematic and retro, befitting the base bikes to a T.

I think no longer routing cables through the handlebars is a downgrade on the new models. One of the special things is the clean cockpit view of the older models.

I came from a Harley to the R18, and it is obviously a matter of taste, but I love the unique art-deco style exhaust of the original model. It is one of the many unique aspects that, to me, made the R18 its own thing. I don't mind them dropping it, however, as it just makes mine that much more unique.

I'm was/am a fan of the fishtale..... but... having removed mine for a bit to try a medium loud exhaust i got a bargain on, I'm now a foot in each camp dude. Sound aside, I love the nore exposed look with the new exhaust.... the chrome rear caliper, drive shaft etc is more visual now and is it's own treat on my bike..

Generally, big jugs distract form nice legs anyhow.
