I received the Headlight recall for my 2022 TC, I do have hopes it's resolved soon.
I will be riding up to Americade in Lake George New York and Laconia Bike Week in NH in May/June.
It sure would be nice to get more R18's up there this year, new headlights will help pick it up!
I found my bike in the R18, I got one, and then added a couple more since, a Pure, Classic and TC.
They all have very different personalities, and each is my absolute favorite when I'm on it.
:)
Thank you all for your efforts and communication.
My 2022 TC FE shows up on the list using the link above to the nhtsa.bmwgroup site.
This information will be very helpful convincing dealer of the issue, mine is not working properly but is not yet visibly 'broken'.

Hi Pierre, I do not see that on mine, checking just now I do see about 2-3mm clearance pretty evenly across beneath the tab, and there's been no sign of contact or movement since... over 5k miles ago. I see you do have the required spacer installed, that was my first suspicion.
If the...
Thanks Scott, great advice. I'll get that in the works pretty quick, with luck it'll be replaced before it fails.
It's pretty much always been how it is now; it'll be nice to see how it's really supposed to work. :)
On my TC the headlight seems to work ok, as far as shining bright light on the road ahead of me although it doesn't seem to follow the road.
The headlight is bright and strong, but I expect the beam would be a bit better balanced if it would center and move freely.
The reflector stays off center...
I believe it's the satellite antenna on US models, I tried Sirius satellite music for a few months, got a free sample... it was nice, but i ended up preferring my own mixes so didn't sign up for the subscription.
The key doesn't actually insert into the antenna, head of the key just needs to be in close proximity to it. Either the spare key or the dead fob can be held close to the antenna to turn the bike on/start, also will allow for unlock steering/cases on the B/TC.
Reaching up and forward under...
I turned 65 a while back, about 5'7", riding a TC, a couple other R18s and a GSA. try to get a couple of rides in most days.
Aside from diet, sleep, basic exercise, and vitamins, I've included Indian club cyclical exercise routines every day and it helps a lot when maneuvering the bike.
Here's...
Thankful you will both be ok, and the bike handled the event suitably well. Hopeful you recover quickly and completely. I appreciate the chance to reinforce my riding awareness, oil patch is one anomaly that's dicey at best once things start sliding. Great to hear that Emergency services was...
I've put around 5k miles on my Classic in the past year, it's still better every time I ride it, at 10k total mileage, it just gets smoother and stronger.
It's only evidenced a surging a couple of times, and then only when first starting out for a ride (startup and ride away within a minute or...
Whew, what a day, eh? Since you were thinking of selling it for 18, I think I'd paint-pen it, sell it for 11-ish to someone who wants to customize it, keep the 11,600, and move on. Good luck with this, hope it works out well for you.
