Personally, I struggled with putting the plug wires on all four plugs. Didn't feel a 'pop' when seating the wire on each plug. Bike runs fine, I just prefer confirmation of the plug and wire contact being solid. Any advice?

The riser on the bottom screw you speak of is used for grounding when you jump start the bike. Positive cable on battery. Negative on that riser.
