i want to have cruise control on my first edition. I contacted my dealer to see about getting it installed and they told me that if the bike didn't have it from the factory, it can't be added. They recommended getting an after market throttle lock type setup. Any recommendations? Thanks.

i did get the sound system. the bags are from viking.

I have the Corbin fairing. I ordered with the taller windshield and sound system. Right away I found the windshield was too short so I put one on that is about 3" taller. Still thinking about adding a couple deflecters to stop some of the wind from blowing up from below. I do like it though.

the wind protection isn't as good as I hoped. I did change out the windshield for one about 4" taller. There is also wind coming up from underneath but I expected that. I am 5' 10". The speakers sound good. It has a 500 amp amplifier so you could add more speakers if wanted. I am bluetoothed...

No problem. The fairing installation supplies and instructions were good. Just had to cut and solder the wires.

I got the problem fixed. Turns out I had a bad rear wheel sensor so the bike didn't know how fast or if the rear wheel was turning. Works great now.

When I signal for a turn in either direction, they flash 3 times and shut off. I have to do that several times to give anyone reasonable intention. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to correct it?

sure looks like the one I had, even the mounts look the same. Mine was mounted on a 1975 Harley Super Glide.

I have the cross country seat on mine and got to go for my first ride on Monday (summer) and I loved it. Has anybody heard when the windshields and mounts are going to be availible?

I have been looking at those too but didn't realize they came from China.

do you still have the kuryakyn boards? If so, do you want to get rid of them? I am a retired toolmaker and might be able to make some custom mount components.

what diameter pipes are required for slip on mufflers? I haven't taken possession of my bike yet so i can't measure mine. Thanks

I haven't taken possession of my r18 yet but studying what I can do. I want floorboards and have been looking at the Kuryakyn ISO-board conversions, They look like they would work. Any ideas?
