What's left when the reflector's gone - holes, adhesive residue, indentations? Fortunately, as mentioned above, the bags look much better as originally designed and photographed, without the red plastic reflectors, IMO.
Yes, of course, but when the BMW badge is on the accessory the buyer gets some assurance that it actually fits and that there's a reasonable warranty - regardless of the actual manufacturer.

Does BMW offer a luggage rack that would replace the passenger seat? I'm envisioning the tubular type rather than flat plate style, and I never have a passenger. Thanks.

I'd think BMW could add the handle bar controller wheel and some kind of "gps prep" mount to the R18 without too much difficulty. Has anyone heard rumors or seen photos?
