I have the icons. gloss black and the lines are bare machined metal. Not sure I would pick them if they weren't already on the bike, but they look very nice.
I don't use my reverse much but I think I remember it happening once, level didn't want to switch back from Reverse to drive. I shimmied the bike a little forward and aft until I felt it release and could switch it. just as Cu and Scott describe. I didn't think much about it at the time. I don't...
my R18 came with the 719 seat. I find it comfortable, no plan to replace it, but I remember the dealer told me the padding is identical to the standard seat. It's just a grippier material on the sitting area and the diamond pattern. It is pretty though.
Thank you for the link. I have a 2023 TC and a recall for the headlamp comes up when I run my vin. shows "remedy not available". I think you're right on what they mean by "voluntary". BMW wasn't forced to do that recall by a government agency.
I thought I might not be allowed to by forum rules, but I've seen other links on the forum so here you go.

Hi Pierre, if you're comfortable with wiring, there are some skilled people on this forum that can probably give you some recommendations.
I've personally been using an adapter and it's been working flawlessly, not vibrating out. I got it off Amazon, it's made of aluminum and has a usb-c and...
yes indeed. after the BMW twin stripes jacket return I ordered an Alpinestars leather jacket. I've had good luck with their textile jackets. It arrived missing the elbow armor and the snap out thermal lining, so back it went.
Some YouTubers mentioned Goldtop, so I ordered their Bobber jacket...
I'd consider a Goldtop jacket from right there in the UK. BMW must be using super cheap zippers on their jackests. I ordered the BMW twin stripes jacket for 25% off last Fall and it fit fine, actually loose but the zipper split as I was trying it on. It was fubar so I sent it back and ordered a...
boy they sure are pretty. I may still add them at some point but can be a little more comfortable waiting to spend the money.
BTW, love that color. good taste :)
looks great. and probably helpful to the forum to know another part that is interchangeable between the models. cool
I have the same fender but with some chrome on the front edge that somehow doesn't look out of place on the TC but would on any of the other R18 models. does seem to keep front...
Anibal, I don't know for sure but I remember mentions of geometry and frame differences on the B model and TC I have over the purre and classic. but if BMW only has one set of OEM engine guards, I would guess the mounting points are identical so you might be okay with the Motea guards. maybe...
sorry to hear about the drop. did your exhaust or pannier's touch the ground? I have the OEM engine guards on my TC and had been thinking about the Wunderlich pannier guards. they look cool but it looked like they leave the bottom outside corner of the pannier's exposed so I've been questioning...
I agree they look sweet but I'm not sure if they're much more than looks. My cylinder heads don't get very hot, I can rest my leg on them if I want. The exhaust header though gets very hot and this doesn't extend over them.
Zumo XT2 came with a u bolt mount so I used that, put different mounts on my other bikes so this one was still sitting in the box. I used a usb c cable into an adapter for the dash socket. Garmin says to hard wire but I’ve been using usb plug for juice on my Guzzi and it works flawless. Saves...
if the 760mm is the TC tall seat, yeah you'll probably get to your destination before you feel heat, lol. I have a heated Sargent seat on another bike and it goes into turbo mode for 10 minutes when you first turn it on to get it hot fast then goes to your setting. I wish the bmw seat did that...
