I really hope that it remains external contamination because the dealer told me that intervention on the front of the engine would require dismantling part of the front chassis... The bike only has 13,000 km (8,000 miles). I don't like the idea of having to touch the engine so soon 😩

I cleaned the engine last Friday and so far the leak hasn't reappeared. We'll see if this is confirmed in 2 weeks. I'll keep you informed 😉

Hi Majunior. I did on my 2023 R18 Classic :cool:. I swapped front and rear fenders, both with R18 B model. The front fender is easy to swap. And no needs modifications, even if the Classic has a chunkier front tire (130/90-16). The rear fender is more delicated to swap. I had to : 1/ Replace...

No. The modification was not as easy as I had thought. I actually replaced the fender and rear frame so I could find the original mounting points of the B. Then I drilled the mounting points to bolt the 2 Classic saddlebags on.

Fully agree with you emgarciax. But I kept the front tire and changed both fenders (front and rear) for the B model. 😎

I live in France and I’ve ordered 2 original chrome mirrors in 2023 for my Classic R18. Everything went well (well packaged and delivered on time). Mirrors were original BMW second hand parts. And price was half compared to new original parts. Mirrors were as new. 😉

B front fender on my Classic I need to take off the front wheel to do it 😊
