6'6" here. R18B. Tall comfort seat was the only change I made. If I know its going to be a long highway day I'll pop the backrest on. Feels like a comfy recline with my feet up on the highway rests. I've done several 350+ miles days with this setup.
Just an update 10 days later (we're up to almost two months now) - got an email saying my windshield had been shipped with a tracking number. Looks like the label was created but it has not actually been picked up for shipment. The expected delivery date from UPS just keeps moving out a day...
Hi all, curious if I should be worried, or if this is standard practice for these folks, and I just need to roll with it...
I ordered a windshield from 7Jurock on October 18th. It finally showed up on November 11th, but it was the wrong windshield. I emailed them 2 more times over 4 days...
Probably just a coincidence. You can reset it yourself, but it requires either the GS-911 tool or an android phone/tablet app and a bluetooth OBDC connector. See here for more details: https://www.r18forums.com/threads/is-it-possible-to-reset-service-warning.277/
I installed V5 of the app on iOS 16 and it still connects fine to the R18B. HOWEVER - Just for fun I tried another phone running the Developer Beta of iOS 17 and it disconnects frequently and is unstable. I reported the issue via the developer feedback assistant. Not sure if it will make it...
Interesting - I have a 2022 Bagger and I am on v4.3.1 of the connected app right now - in fact It was perfect on a 430 mile ride yesterday. I'll download the new version (v5 - which has traffic rerouting!) and let you know how it goes.
I have the tall seat and a backrest - I'm not sure if it's the added padding in the tall seat or not, but the two combine to make my R18B is far more comfortable for long rides than my KTM 1290SA. It's like riding a comfy padded chair.
OK, I've been deep down this road. A stock TC screen is your first stop. See if you can try one - at 6'6" its not quite tall enough for me. Jurock makes a 20" but its actually about the same as the TC screen in real life. The tallest screen is 26" and is made by powerbronze. It's kind of...
Decided to make a final version. Spent a lot more time on cutting (bandsaw) and finishing (bench belt sander). Could be OEM I think... Let me know if you want the pattern. I have it scanned in and fit to a piece of paper - you should be able to print and trace it.
Well, that worked better than it had any right to.... I guess the air coming up from below was more of a factor than I'd thought. Now I have to decide if I buy the OEM ones, or just model a final shape in CAD and send it to these guys for fabrication...
I didnt really want to drop $400+ on the TC winglets without knowing if they would work. So I fabbed up some out of Lexan. They look pretty decent for 30 minutes work. When it stops raining I'll give them a try. Just thought I'd post in case anyone else was in the same boat.
Its this one - works great.

I run it with these straps -

As the others have said - Utopia. You have to call. Love, Love, Love mine. Picture below (forgive the windshield thingy, tall screen on the way). It (the backrest) swivels up and down to move with you, so don't worry about the angle in the picture.

I'm 6'5" and looking for the tallest windscreen I can find for my Bagger. This seems to be it - anyone else have one?
Just a reminder, Macbooks produced over the last two years using the M1 chipset will not run bootcamp. You can always pick up an old windows laptop for $50 or so and keep it in the garage.
