BMW incentives are going away. Dealers are ordering fewer bikes and are not discounting them as much either. Prices will rebound on the used market. I think the Classic is a great value. There aren't as many used ones for sale either.
Not that I know. We have Mexican plated cars here in Houston. I've never seen or heard any problem with it. I know the border is in the news but inland is different. People cross the border both ways all the time. Plus I don't think most people will be able to tell where your bike is from...
Has anyone modified their Homage seat to add extra padding? I like my solo seat but it's a little hard on bumps. I've thought about adding an inch or two of padding. Thoughts?

Yes it is the Classic without bags and windshield. I bought the Classic because I like the 16" front wheel better. I like the "naked" look too so I just stripped things off.
I have the service light that came on. I've owned my bike and I am in between regular services - 600 miles service was done a few months ago but I am not quite yet at 6,000 miles. This is the first BMW I own that requires an annual service. Has anyone done it? What do they actually do? I can't...
We had a cool front that brought temps down. My tires needed air. Went to my local gas station and aired the tires. It was a PITA! I have a Classic and the small wire wheels made it difficult. BMW should have 90 degree stem valves. Rant over.
