On the curvy road going up and down the mountain towards Suches, GA it was easy to drag the pedal knuckles on both sides of the R 18 Classic.

Rock mode is my standard, however I did ride it in rain mode to dealer for 600 mile checkup back in 2021 in heavy rain.

Mustang Day Rider seat, and I have never had any problems with either the fob or using the plastic key through the seat.

When I received my 2021 R18 Classic on January 26th 2021, I was told by my dealer that they owed me a set of footboards and the heel/toe shifter. The parts were ordered early this year, and then I was notified that the kickstand aslo had to be changed, and supposedly was ordered. I am still waiting!

Different kickstand is required for 2021 R18 Classic as well. I have been waiting for months for both the floorboards, heel/toe shifter and the kickstand.

Had a pinhole in rear tire tube. Cost an arm and a leg to have it diagnosed and replaced.

Same problem. Had to go to local BMW dealer to purchase the needed hardware, and they had them in stock.

You could have added 80+ to the list, as I am now over 80years old.

In the 20 1/2 years I owned a 2000 K1200LTC the rear drive was replaced. Once under warrantee and once out of my pocket.. Major bearing was the cause both times.

Took me a year and three days to get an OEM set ordered and sent through A&S BMW in California, delivery is expected tomorrow by UPS.

Bought the first 2021 R 18 Classic sold in Georgia, after ordering it in 2020 as the style interested me, and my 2000 LTC would be 20 1/2 years old, but still ran perfect after over 120,000 miles. I paid retail at the time in Jan 21 and did not get all the deals that were offered afterward. But...

Finally got the upgrade downloaded for the R 18 on my GS-911. New firmware was put out in November 2021, but hadn't seen any mention of it until I went on line to Hex Code to check it. After downloading, the diagnostic test does show the R 18.
