    Rhythmic Vibration in 3rd gear between 2000 - 2700 rpm

    Hi. A longtime visitor, first time poster from Seoul. I have a R18FE with just over 5000km on the odometer.     Traces of grease from steering column.

    Both my wife's and my R18 shows traces of grease at the bottom of steering column. Is this normal? If not, are there any remedies? Sent an email to BMW Motorrad Germany and received a reply saying a the relevant department will contact me ASAP.
