Welcome! Great color choice. You have a lot of great riding in your neck of the woods, enjoy! We moved from an 1150GS to the TC and it took some learning and some minor tweaking to get her where I like. The TC is a great scooter.

I can't really help but, in an apples-to-oranges comparison, my TC handles 2-up (and 2 who are somewhat larger 'ups'!) very well. I know the Classic and the TC are set up differently but thought I'd add this just as a data point for you. (edited to correct my fat-thumb spelling error)

Red64, good on ya finding an independent mechanic for the beast. I like the relationship and care many of these shops provide. Also, extra points for using "whilst"!

Hmmmm, you may have convinced... or at least, influenced me. I do think the polished engine cover helps. The stock matte-finish engine cover doesn't pop like that.
