Yeah it's something, alright. Definitely a head-turner. Wow, it's remarkable. Certainly a product of a unique mind. I can really appreciate how much effort the designer put into it. Yup...
Gaaaaahhhhh, I can't do it! It's horrible! So, so, horrible! Really. It's profoundly grotesque.
It makes me a bit uneasy. The asking price is ridiculous. But even a hint that some actual money can be made and we'll all need to keep an eye on our emblems. And worse, if they do walk off, replacement is pert near impossible.
That impressive. When I asked about it months and months ago, before I went with WalzWerks, my dealer just starred at me blankly. When I persisted, he told me that he didn't know. When I emailed a request to have them email me when they heard anything, I didn't receive a reply. When I emailed...
Sorry for you and for the dog.

Cripes, what an ordeal. I love that you could look them in the eye and say, no, I know how to ride, this wasn't my fault, and that you have the cred to back that up. Keep on em Dwendell!
For anyone who would like to do something similar, I worked with Niko at Portland Waterjet. He was terrific. Told me that I'm the fourth person making custom engine emblems. I did the outer plates (the LV Shtupp ones) in stainless 3/16th inch thick and did the backing plates in aluminum 1/16...
Received my new engine plaques from Portland water jet.
I ordered two of these in stainless steel and two aluminum backing plates. I'll paint those black so the Shtupp really pops.
/yeah, I've named my R18 LilI Von Shtupp
