    Not a choice. Been informed by BMW Australia, that BMW head office (Germany) has mandated that ALL R18's fitted with the reverser SHALL be deactivated (irrespective of country).

    Mine (Qld) is the same - but rest assured, book it in with BMW for a service and they promptly inform you of the Reverser deactivation. Headlight is only if/when it buggers-up (like mine did from Sydney to Brisbane).
