Thanks for checking your bikes. Since we have similar voltages with engine off, my battery should be ok. What's still nagging a tiny little bit is that I've heard that AGM batteries should measure higher than regular batteries, or perhaps that the charging voltage should be higher. I'm not sure...

Can you trust the accuracy of consumer volt meters? Or the bike's own volt meter?

Thanks, it would be great to have your voltage for comparison. I'll also check my voltage without the charger connected as soon as I can. Bike is located at work for winter, and right now I'm home from work with a severe cold.

Thanks for clarifying that. I haven't ever emptied a tank and don't plan to take the risk. The manual doesn't mention this matter, probably cause it rarely happens during warranty...

Where is that petcock knob on the R18? Still searching... :ROFLMAO: Should have said I have the R18B. Reserve is 4 litres/1.1 gallons on all models I think. So if you use up the reserve, the tank is dry by then right? No fuel left to cool the fuel pump motor? So all of that "reserve" is not...

But does the fill gas indicator light up at the point when the reserve is reached? I didn't think that the gas indicator was that accurate. In fact I didn't think it monitors the reserve level at all. Maybe I'm wrong.

Chrome or not, the top of the B/TC tank with the fuel lid and phone compartment is not my favorite part of the bike. But there are much worse, like those cruisers with big speedos on the tank, looks awful... I would love just a tank without ornaments and a fuel cap on top. I would easily...

Seems normal to me to discuss fuel consumtion after mods. I don't see anyone complaining.
