If the reverse fix modifies the ECU, then yes, your Bren map will need to be updated at Bren Tuning’s $200 price. Once you get your bike back, try and reapply the modified tune again. If it fails, you then need the new map done.

Are you referring to the Bren Tune? If so, yes the original map will be stored in the handheld.

Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip. Planning a weekend trip in a couple weeks and will try it out then. I got the Carpuride W603D mainly for the front and rear cameras, but the 6” screen for CarPlay is a nice bonus.

Finally got my TC scheduled for the reverse fix this next Monday. Can’t wait, as I use it all the time to back into my garage. Also used it quite a bit in parking spaces.

Had a 2018 GA, sold that due to the instability and after test riding a TC with the wife, she said that was the bike she wanted, as she rides with me about 50% and said the TC had the most comfortable pillion of all the bikes I’ve had. Plus she has back issues, and the TC’s low seat height...

Unless the bike’s ECU software has been updated, you should be able to reapply the tune from the handheld tuner without issue. If the ECU has been updated, then a new tune from BT Moto will have to be generated at a cost of $200. I think BMW should have to pay for this as the reverse issue is...

I had my BT done long before the reverse recall. Before bringing my bike in for the recall, I removed the tune and put the bike back to stock. I guess I’ll find out if I need the tune updated when I get the bike back.

Now just waiting for the fix to made it to the US.

Almost all of the BMW accessories have about doubled.
