Joflo, keeping the old cover to add to my spare parts collection if ever needed. The old cover was pitted from road grime, but the powder coaters sanded and buffed it out before powder coating, and now it looks brand new. :)

Engine parts back from the powder coater this morning. Valve covers, intake covers, and old engine cover were powder coated a satin black to match my Akrapovic mufflers. The new BMW billet engine breast plate I ordered is supposed to arrive today, too. Can't wait to get my R18 back together...

I have the Denali Soundbomb Mini on both my R18 and R9T. Good and plenty loud. The Mini version does not have the air pump component, which makes install simpler.

+1 for RoadStyler rear protection bars. I have them on my 2023 R18 Basic. They were easy to install. The only issue I had was that I had taken off the pillion seat and removed the rear pegs. The pegs had to be re-installed because they act as a spacer between the bars and the peg mounts.

I've taken off the cover of few BMW seats (R9T, R18, R1200GS) to install gel inserts. The cover is simply stapled on to the plastic seat pan. No glue involved.
