Cleaned her and put the stock windscreen back on it. Love the looks of the stock R18B windscreen but like the protection of the T/C windscreen better, I hope I can ride with stock windscreen because I really don’t want to switch back.

I used blue Loctite but I will check today to see they are loose. have not had any issues and they have been on there over 6 months so far.

I have ACC on my R18B and have used it a few times. I have to admit it is not to as appealing IMO on the R18 because I find my hanging behind the slower traffic and forgetting that I can go around them. But it has made me start collecting the parts to add to my 2018 BMW 330XI Wagon and 2011...

Take another look at the picture, both parts are the same transmission housing just highlighted the parts used for reverse assist and actual transmission parts.

Interpret how you wish but read your manual. If your transmission had a reverse gear the rules of operation would not be.... -Ensure Transmission is in Neutral, -Clutch is not pulled, -Side Stand is folded in, - Engine is running.... Etc... Bottom line is transmission would be in Reverse...

Just a little background on me, I have a 2016 K1600 GTL which was the year before the reverse for that model. I did research in attempts to get reverse added and was told how it works, yes that was back in 2017, but I still remember the important parts of the discussion:ROFLMAO:

The reverse for the R18 and K1600 has no workings with the transmission. The reverse uses the starter motor to push the bike backwards. Lots of references here about the transmission but it has not play in the operation other than ensuring it is not engaged. Honestly I use the reverse nearly...

Same here I removed the tank several times on my 18B and barely a drop, but I did destroy the fuel line and had to replace it. Modded some pliers to squeeze the white release clamps to get the tank loose. Afterwards the fuel line would not stay locked in, kept disconnecting. So even replacing...

One of the main issues I have found is starting map mode while your phone is connected to some other WiFi. That is normally what causes mine to not connect, or start map mode. I would also set the ask to join networks to OFF to keep your phone from trying to connect to other WiFi networks that...

The piece you pictured is possibly just decoration. No wiring of any sort going to that part
