I'm not sure to be honest the dealer had the bike for 3 days and had it in bits. He told me it was a breathing tube in bad English. It was covered by warranty and they were online to Germany as it was weird, they hadn't encountered the issue before. It was recorded on their global "issue'...

I had that here in Mexico and it was a badly fitted or perished breather tube.

I had a sissybar made in a small workshop here in Mexico with faux leather generic bags for the odd time I will need/use them. Total cost MX$ 9,000 (US$ 500) the lot.. The reason for the tape measure is Tom Hurley in Scotland is making me seat replacements and sissy bar back pad.. (soon)
