Is there any stigma or danger of riding a Mexican plated bike in the US out of interest, a few of us were thinking of riding the Pacific highway and cutting over to Sturgis come September and my missis is a tad worried... cheers in advance...

No you are correct I only know of 2 guys in Guadalajara apart from me and they both have multiple R18 forms. I'm a retired Brit living here for the past 13 years love the freedom, the people, the food, the climate ..deffo the climate and the cost of living apart from BMW +20% costs lol...

The temp warning only comes on when hot.. and you will need to pull over... only happened to me once in heavy traffic and 33 C ambient temp...
