Any time that they get a bike from a manufacturer who doen't limit what they are allowed to do with it, Cycle World has always done the entire range of performance tests on street bikes. They have a list of tests and specifications with which they feel that they have to fill in the blanks...

To my knowledge, I don't think that anyone has found the matching male plugs for the 2-wire, 3-contact (1 unused) pigtail or the 2-wire pigtail connected to the battery under the LH side cover. But anyone with a little bit of talent and a soldering iron can tap into the two wires and run power...

I also use a Tomtom GPS. I ran power & ground from the unused source under the LH side cover, under the gas tank, to the front. It works great! When I'm not using the GPS, I just tuck the Tomtom connector down below the speedo...

Whatever passes as "premium" here and often with no ethanol. In Tennessee most gas stations sell the usual 10% ethanol choices, but there are stations with "100% gasoline", typically with three octane levels to choose from. I won't put anything with more than 10% ethanol in it.
