My previous oil leak was gear oil from the transmission breather, which the dealer repaired under warranty. This is an engine oil leak that looks to be from the oil pan just below the breast plate. :-| 11.7K miles on the bike.

Beautiful. My first BMW was a K bike, a 1985 K75T, that I bought brand new. Just one word of caution… I don’t think I have ever seen a K1600 Bagger that didn’t have the panniers scraped from a drop. Protection bars would be my first purchase if I bought one. Happy Travels. Flea

Lots of work done. Head light recall, I put on the Helibars, aux lights. I did look for loose screws and everything was tight and nothing was missing that I could see.

I’ve pressed on the TFT/Bezel area and I’m pretty sure it went away. But then, in order to be scientific I would have to go over the same bumps at the same speed again :-). But really, just checking in to see if anyone else has this.

Does your dash rattle? Mine does when I go over rough roads. I took the Bezel off and put some foam tape around it, but I still haven’t been able to track it down. Annoying. Once the rains stop I’ll take the bezel off and ride around to see if it goes away. I’m curious if anyone else has this.

I’m certain that you would wire the relay coil to a switched input, so yes it would turn off and on with the bike. You still want the toggle switch that comes with the light to turn them off when needed, you can keep it in the on position and it will work the way you wanted it to work. The OEM...

You are correct. On my R18B, I didn’t need the two bushings 23 41 7 674 079 which is nice because they are $17.26 each :-O

Parts arrive in a couple of days, Ill let you know.
