Good idea! I don't have big feet and I found the brake lever too obtrusive as well. I rarely touch the rear brake, so getting it out of the way was one of my first priorities. I put some thick-walled hose over the lever stop and it lowered the lever some.

Drive train lash is just the combined "slack" or "clearance" between all meshing components from crankshaft to rear wheel and when power is applied or shut down that clearance is closed-up. Typically, chain drive machines have the most slack because chain wear and the required adjusted-in slack...

Hi TV. That's why I called it a Sport-Standard. The CB100EX is naked and it's ergonomics are unlike most Sportbikes, but it has significant sporting capabilities.

I think that it's mostly very cool looking. The retro-levers for the front brake and clutch are VERY cool. Black and gold trim is always sexy, but I think that the black should still be gloss black. The front engine cover is gorgeous, but I wonder if the front fender will come very close to it...

Well said, Estoma. But I can't agree on all of what you've said, only because I don't see the BMW as a German HD at all. It's too nimble for that kind of comparison. And, while I did initially fall for the R18 based on it's retro-BMW appearance, I have been captured on how well it functions...

I would have prefered to install the brake line bracket behind the engine guard mount, but it just seemed to be too close of a fit.
